Christopher A. Pedorella, D.M.D.

Dr. Pedorella brings to the practice over 15 years of experience in general dentistry. He attended the University of Hartford and received his D.M.D. from the Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry. His dental experience began in the U.S. Military where he served for over 8 years and 5 of those years on Active Commissioned Service across the United States as a Dental Officer. He also did an AEGD Residency in Colorado Springs, Co. After his military duties, Dr. Pedorella moved back home to Rhode Island and continued his career as a general dentist where it eventually lead him to Smile Designers and taking over the practice in 2004.

Dr. Christopher A. Pedorella is published in GENERAL DENTISTRY – a Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Lori-Ann Waugh, Office Manager & Certified Dental Assistant

Lori has been working in the dental industry for over 20 years. Her experience is not only evident in every one of her patients' smiles, but also in the day-to-day operations of the practice. Lori helps our patients every step of the way – from accommodating tight schedules to finding payment options to meet their specific budgets and plans. In addition, she also oversees the staff with Dr. Pedorella to assure the entire office is running smoothly.

Jane McCarthy, Receptionist

Jane has been working in the dental field for over 20 years. She began her career processing claims at Met Life where she learned all there intricate details and procedures for dental claims and coding. You can find Jane at the front desk managing all aspects of the practice including scheduling, customer service and third-party billing. Providing all of her patients customized care and solutions for the dental care is what makes her a perfect fit at Smile Designers – where you can expect a friendly and comfortable experience every time you enter their doors.

Lori Morvillo, Certified Dental Assistant

Lori has been trained in the dental industry from the ground up ever since she started working at her father's practice at the age of 16. She received her training through the Community College of Rhode Island and is also a certified X-ray technician. Her vast knowledge, training and certifications from the Dental Assisting National Board make her one of the most experienced Dental Assistants and a favorite amongst the East Greenwich community. Lori maintains all her certification with her commitment to continuing education seminars and classes.

Barbara Robinson, Registered Dental Hygienist

Barbara has been a dental hygienist for over 25 years. She graduated Sigma Phi Alpha from Bristol Community College. In addition to her overall experience in the dental field she is also trained in periodontics and prosthetic dentistry.

Jessica Leigh Cady, Registered Dental Hygienist

Jessica joined Smile Designers in 2007. She graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island in Dental Assisting where she also earned her degree in Dental Hygiene. She attends continuing education classes to stay on top of the latest trends, practices and technologies in patient care.

Debbie Amarante, Registered Dental Hygienist

Debbie earned her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2006 from the Community College of Rhode Island and was immediately hired as a hygienist at Smile Designers. She continues to broaden her skills and stays on top of the latest industry practices by attending seminars and classes.
